BRIEF//

My brief is as follows:

- To provide a building to politically represent issues within the Australian Government

- To have a flexible nature in some sense - Use of hydraulic plates below ground level to move 'pods' on either side of the buildings core

- 20 offices are needed

- 3 head offices for seniors

- Front reception desk

- Connection to green spaces on either side of the building

- Lecture theatre to cater for 250 people

- Staff kitchen to all levels

- Male and female bathrooms to all levels (staff and public)

- Rooftop garden social space

- Exterior area to have assembly area for announcements

- To provide a light rail system along King Avenue and turn onto King Edward Terrace and then back onto Commonwealth Avenue back to Capital Hill

- Plant room

- Security room

- Meeting rooms x 3

POD brief//

- There are 2 kinds of pods. One side will be liberal, the other labor. Issues not in these categories can vary throughout either side

- One side will contain different materials to other to allow for representation of different sides.

- Roughly 8 x 10m

- To contain built in joinery for desks and information booths
